AvraFlow provides technical sourcing and business development for European flow control manufacturers entering CIS and Eastern European markets.

Eighteen years ago I started working in the global valve and flow control industry — first through Valve World and KCI Publishing, visiting manufacturers, distributors, and end-users across Europe, Russia, Asia, and the Middle East. That work meant sitting across the table from engineers, sales directors, and factory owners in dozens of countries, often for years running, long enough to see relationships turn into something more durable than a single deal. In July 2026, after that chapter closed, I started the new one.

Welcome to AvraFlow, your new center for precise technical sourcing and industrial integration. We bridge the gap between European manufacturing excellence and the complex demands of the CIS and Eastern European markets.

In a fragmented global supply chain, standard procurement is no longer enough.

What I do

AvraFlow is independent business development and sales representation for European flow control manufacturers — valves, actuators, seals, gaskets — looking to develop markets across Benelux, Eastern Europe, and the CIS. I’m not a distributor and I don’t carry stock. My role sits closer to the manufacturer than that: understanding a market from the inside, identifying where real demand exists, and building the relationships that make a first order possible — and a tenth one, too.

How I work

Three things guide how I take on an engagement:

Relationships first, transactions second. Markets in this region reward people who show up consistently, not people who show up once with a proposal. Eighteen years of doing this the slow way is the entire basis of what I can offer a manufacturer today.

Compliance is the starting point, not a footnote. Working across borders that include sanctioned and non-sanctioned jurisdictions means every engagement begins with a clear legal and regulatory review — before any conversation about volumes or margins. I’d rather turn down an opportunity than build one on an unclear foundation.

Trust compounds; scale follows it. I’m not building AvraFlow to grow fast. I’m building it to be the kind of partner a manufacturer still wants to work with five years in, and the kind of contact a buyer still calls when the easy relationship elsewhere has gone quiet.

The Future of Technical Sourcing

True technical sourcing requires more than just finding a component; it demands deep engineering insight, rigorous due diligence, and secure, compliant trade corridors. At AvraFlow, we don’t just move boxes. We act as your strategic proxy, ensuring that every valve, actuator, and sealing component meets exact specifications and legal frameworks. We secure operational continuity for heavy industries, refineries, and petrochemical plants.

Beyond direct representation, I see real value in building bridges that don’t currently exist — technical dialogue between European engineering and CIS industry, joint conferences and study visits, and closer cooperation with the associations and institutions that already anchor these markets. Some of that work is already underway. More of it will show up here, on this blog, as it develops — market analysis, sector notes, and the occasional lesson learned the hard way. You can read more about how I approach each engagement on the Expertise page.

If you’re a European manufacturer looking to develop Eastern European or CIS markets, or a buyer in the region looking for quality European components through a transparent, compliance-led process, I’d welcome a conversation.

Note: Every engagement begins with a review against the current EU sanctions framework before any conversation about volumes or margins.
